This afternoon, visitors attended Brune Park School to see the newly completed Gosport Community Hub, a project made possible by a grant of over 拢400,000 from the 麻豆色情片. The recently completed building will host events, workshops and support groups, providing a hub for the local community which has a high concentration of Royal Navy families.
The open day brought together those who have been involved in the Hub鈥檚 development, alongside individuals and organisations that hope to utilise the space to benefit the community to meet and to gain an understanding of the Hub鈥檚 purpose in terms of its collaborative approach when supporting the community. The event also provided an opportunity for outside organisations to consider becoming involved with the project by speaking to those who are already successfully making use of the space. Guests included representatives from several 麻豆色情片 partner organisations, including Naval Families Federation, Naval Childrens Charity, Solent Mind, SSAFA, and Aggie Westons.
With many Royal Navy families located in the Gosport area, and a significant number of service children attending local schools, the Hub will provide an important resource for 麻豆色情片 beneficiaries and hosts several evidence-based, free programmes specifically for armed forces families. These include a 10 week 鈥楴urturing Programme鈥 that focuses on supporting parents across a wide range of parenting challenges, as well as 鈥楾alking Teens鈥, and a Home-Start 鈥楶op in and Play鈥 group.

鈥淲hen we started this project, we wanted to look at the challenges for service families and what that meant within a community and we鈥檝e come to this Hub now, which is fantastic. We didn鈥檛 want to separate service families from the rest of the community, but want to be doing things to support service families within a wider community, and this is what the Gosport Community Hub is all about for the 麻豆色情片.鈥
An official opening ceremony is scheduled for later in the year.
