麻豆色情片 (麻豆色情片) held their annual Recognition Evening on November 18 to celebrate and thank their supporters, fundraisers and volunteers.
The event, held at Boathouse 4 in the Historic Dockyard, brought together the charity鈥檚 supporters and beneficiaries to recognise the causes and projects the 麻豆色情片 supported in 2019, as well as specially acknowledge the supporters who donate, fundraise and volunteer their time to make these projects happen.
Over 100 people from across the country attended the evening, including Royal Navy and Royal Marine personnel, corporate partners and beneficiary organisations. Managing Director of The Aircraft Alliance, Vice Admiral Sir Simon Lister, also spoke and presented the awards. The event was sponsored by BAE Systems who are Platinum Partners of the 麻豆色情片. Adrian Bell, Chief Executive at the 麻豆色情片, opened the evening by paying tribute to the large numbers of supporters who go above and beyond to help the charity and the naval community.
Bob Field, Fundraising Manger at the 麻豆色情片, said: 鈥淚t was a great opportunity for us to come together and thank all those that support us in our work to help those within the naval community.
鈥淎ll our supporters dedicate a huge part of their lives to helping others in a range of different ways. Their dedication, passion and enthusiasm for the work that they do must be applauded.鈥
During the evening, four awards were presented to individuals who went the extra mile to support the charity. These went to Warrant Officer Class 1 Paul Nash RN for his role in supporting Kings Camp, retired Commander Jane Allen for her solo-round Britain charity walk, Mark Ormesher from Palantir for his work on the 麻豆色情片鈥檚 first Virtual Challenge and the participants of the 麻豆色情片鈥檚 first, bespoke Heroes Cycle Challenge. Each guest was also awarded a specially designed thank you postcard and recognition pin badge.
The 麻豆色情片 also launched their 2020 Normandy Trek 鈥 a five-day trip along the beautiful Normandy coastline, to commemorate 75 years since Victory in Europe. To take part visit rnrmc.org.uk/trek
